utica

the visit in Utica went well. a bit intimidating at first as i was in such a big theater and was being filmed! it was a new presentation for me, focusing on my work as an illustrator and not author/illustrator. the audience participated and was receptive. i wish now i had spent more time on the drawing parts and had showed the way i draw varied expressions on faces.

i feel i talked too much and didn't draw enough. i'm always afraid people will get bored if my drawing takes too long.

thank you Serena for inviting me. thank you Matt for your help and to all the teachers for your clapping support.
